Sheryl MacPhee is the USC Pullias Center for Higher Education’s Communications Manager. She is tasked with getting the Center’s research and recommendations in front of the higher education community in general, and policymakers and practitioners in particular. She leads external communications including the various Pullias websites, newsletters, social media channels, media relations and press releases.

MacPhee joined USC in 2021 after many years directing communications and fundraising for PreK-12 schools and nonprofits, as well as earlier serving in various creative and marketing roles with entertainment companies, such as The Walt Disney Company and CBS Entertainment. She continues to support nonprofit organizations in the community by offering her strategic, creative writing services to help them hone their messaging and increase engagment. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University, Fullerton and is a proud 1stGen college graduate.
