Angie Kim is a Ph.D. student in Higher Education at the University of Michigan. Angie’s research interest includes critically examining institutional anti-racism initiatives through the lens of neoliberalism and racial capitalism that fabricate higher education and building organizational and interpersonal conditions that allow for critical interdependencies across constituencies. Prior to U-M, Angie worked as a higher education professional at New York University overseeing student life, student transition, and social justice education. She earned an M.A. in Higher Education & Student Affairs from New York University and a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of Southern California.
