The USC College Advising Corps
Based at USC Rossier’s Pullias Center for Higher Education, USC College Advising Corps (USC CAC) works to improve college outcomes for low-income, first- generation, and underrepresented students. The goal of the program is to raise the number of California students who attend and complete college by encouraging and assisting high school students with their college searches, college applications, financial aid, and making the transition to post-secondary education.
USC CAC trains and places recent college graduates in Southern California high schools to serve as full-time college advisers. We partner with local districts and places our advisers in their high schools. This working partnership is vital to the long-term effectiveness of our college advisers who are dedicated to increasing the number of California youth who attend and complete higher education.
