Would you like to be one of our advisers? The USC College Advising Corps recruits exceptional university graduates to serve two years as college advisers. We are always recruiting. We may not have positions open right now, but we recruit year round for positions that start in July of each year, or for positions that may come available throughout the year. Adviser Requirements
While USC graduates are welcome, you do NOT have to be a graduate of USC.
Advisers are full-time USC employees with benefits and serve 37.5 hours a week in a low-income, high-needs high school in Southern California.
- Are you a recent university graduate? Again, you do NOT have to be a graduate of USC but any four-year university.
- Are you currently, or will you be living in the areas we serve in Southern California?
- Do you have a valid CA drivers license and/or reliable transportation to and from work?
- Do you have a passion for advising youth on how to get into college?
