In this HigherEdJobs podcast (recorded April 2024), Pullias Center director Adrianna Kezar talks to hosts Andrew Hibel and Kelly Cherwin about the Delphi Project on the Changing Faculty and Student Success and the Delphi Award, now in its seventh year. In Part 1 of the two-part podcast, Kezar highlights changing faculty trends in the U.S. and talks about the Award, which recognizes institutions that have created innovative ways to support part-time or contingent faculty.

In Part 2 of the interview, they ask the question: what can VITAL faculty (aka contingent or non-tenure-track faculty) do to improve their work conditions? Adrianna believes that it comes down to relationships: Talk with faculty at other institutions and get to know your department chair. Consider joining a national advocacy organization like the American Association of University Professors.
