Liane Hypolite

Research Assistant

Liane Hypolite is a doctoral student at USC’s Rossier School of Education studying Urban Education Policy with a focus in Higher Education, conducting research with Dr. Darnell Cole. Before attending USC, she served as the Dean of College and Career Advising at Codman Academy Charter Public School in Boston, MA and has also worked at the national college access and success non-profit, Bottom Line, helping students to and through college. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Brandeis University, double majoring in Psychology and Sociology, and earned her master’s degree in Education Policy and Management at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research interests include college supports that improve the persistence and graduation of first-generation, low-income, students of color.
