Elizabeth Park is a Ph.D. candidate focusing on higher education policy at USC. She is interested in educational issues related to immigrant students, community colleges, and post-secondary outcomes of low-income students. Her dissertation explores whether post-secondary education can improve civic and social engagement among immigrant students. Furthermore, she is currently part of a longitudinal mixed methods project looking at whether learning communities can improve psychosocial and academic outcomes of low-income college students. She holds a Masters degree in Educational Policy from University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelors degree in Economics from UCLA.
