Samantha Bernstein received her Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2006. She received her J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston in 2009, and thereafter worked as an associate in litigation and appeals at a special education law firm in New York City representing the parents of disabled students. Her appellate work with the law firm influenced her decision to pursue a PhD degree in urban education policy at USC. Samantha now works with Dr. Adrianna Kezar, focusing her research on intellectual property and technology in higher education.
