Joseph (Joey) Kitchen is a Postdoctoral Scholar for the Pullias Center for Higher Education. He earned his PhD in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University in 2014, where he also earned his MA in Community Planning, and BA in Psychology. Prior work experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University and a postdoctoral research post at Ohio State University. His previous work examined the impact of college outreach and academic support programming on a broad range of student outcomes. He currently serves as Postdoctoral Scholar for the Buffett Foundation Thompson Scholars Learning Communities research project.
