Federick Ngo is a doctoral student in Urban Education Policy at USC. As a Pullias Center researcher, Federick works with Dr. Tatiana Melguizo studying math education in community colleges and currently has several ongoing projects examining assessment and placement policies in developmental math. He also has interests in international educational development. Federick has published in Research in Higher Education, Educational Research for Policy and Practice, and is the author of a chapter on genocide education in Cambodia, available here. Prior to entering the Ph.D. program, Federick taught high school math at Life Academy of Health and Bioscience in Oakland, CA, served as an instructional coach, and was a research analyst at SRI International.
